For the past four weeks, and for the next four, my lunch breaks have been and will be spent getting radiation for a recurrence of cancer initially found last year. My prognosis is good, mainly because my recurrence was detected early and able to be traced due to new technology that has only been available in the past two years. This technology comes from research funded by the many charities we support to eliminate this pervasive disease. I doubt any of us hasn’t been affected by cancer, and I know you’ve undoubtedly given and been asked to give many times. Here is my ask… on August 6th, I will be riding my bike in the Pan-Mass Challenge to raise money for the fight against cancer. Between now and then, while I am using my lunch breaks to fight my own cancer, I’m asking you to give up a lunch break and donate the cost of that lunch to fund cancer research. Your $10, $15, or $20 helps because many small things add up to big things! Will you help to eradicate cancer, for me and for all the others you know that are, in their own personal ways, affected by this disease? If so, you can donate here: https://profile.pmc.org/AC0531
Thank you for your support!

I have followed your work for a long time and know you want what is best for the community as well as for your family. Your precious son benefited greatly by the time and care you gave him. Your wife and her work flourished because of your encouragement. Thanks for all you do.
